West Country Swords invites you to join us for our Summer Training Camp at Malvern St James School in Malvern, Worcestershire. This camp is aimed at aspirational fencers from the ages of 7+ year olds and to all fencers who wish to develop their skills in Fencing. We will hopefully have some international fencers from various clubs attending too.
5x Commonwealth Medallist and professional Fencing Coach Daniel Robinson will be managing the camp and training programme; and he will also be supported by other professional coaches. All accommodation will be at Malvern St James and there will be male and female chaperones on site at all times. All meals will take place in the school dining hall. Participating athletes will enjoy a programme of sparring, individual and group lessons, fitness, footwork, video analysis and athlete lifestyle management. All training will take place on the Malvern St James campus; and there will also be options for further activities in the evenings. The cost of our residential camp will be £450.00 per person; this will cover all meals, accommodation, coaching, equipment and facility charges. Alternatively, for those in the locality there are two full week non-residential options - Standard & Premium. Our standard option costs £330.00 per person with training starting at 9:00am and finishing at 5:00pm, includes lunch. Our premium option costs £390.00 per person with training starting at 9:00am and finishing at 9:00pm, includes lunch and dinner (apart from Thursday). For those who can't attend the full week on either the residential or non-residential courses we also do day rate options which can be found on the 'Day Rate Sign Up.'
